Be is looking to recruit a Management Trainee Design Manager to join its team based in Hounslow.

As a Trainee Design Manager you will be directly involved in the design and project management of construction projects. Your career is all about managing the design process in relation to producing a set of drawings that a building can be built from. You will do this through working with architects and design consultants to complete the clients brief at the best value.

Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds and qualification routes. We welcome all applications: from school, college or university or through building trades backgrounds or other relevant work experience. All that we ask is that you have a passion for building a career in construction. The programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to all areas of our business to develop your understanding of the construction business as a whole not just your chosen discipline. The length of your programme will depend on your entry route, generally between two and four years. On successful completion of the training programme you will be positively supported to complete a professional qualification such as CIOB.

Essential and Desirable Criteria
It is expected that you will have a degree ideally in the built environment and want to pursue further qualifications through a structured training programme that is supported by be. A mentor will assist with your progress through this.

·       The ability to make decisions in a timely and appropriate manner.

·       12 months relevant work or industry experience.
