Be is looking to recruit a Management Trainee who will work across a number of different disciplines within our property development company over a 2 year trainee scheme. 

These disciplines include Quantity Surveying (the commercial and money side), Estimating (pricing) Planning and Design (technical side), Land management and Development management (overall project management).

Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds but we are seeking a graduate who can demonstrate a passion for building a career in the property development sector. The programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to all areas of our business to develop your understanding of the development business as a whole. The length of your programme is generally between two and three years. On successful completion of the training scheme you will be positively supported to complete a professional qualification such as CIOB, RICS etc.

Essential and desirable criteria
It is expected that you will have a degree ideally in the built environment and want to pursue further qualifications through a structured training programme that is supported by be. A mentor will assist with your progress through this.

·       The competence to work to highest standards in your chosen discipline.
·       A strong understanding of business processes and industry IT systems.
·       The ability to make decisions in a timely and appropriate manner.
·       Analytical and forward thinking.
·       Ability to build effective working relationships.

·       12 months relevant work or industry experience.
·       Working towards appropriate professional membership.
