Conceived in 2012, we are proud to say that we constructed and successfully let the first homes in London specifically designed for rent. Brian leads one of our development teams and focusses on delivering the best customer experience possible; from the first interaction, through the buying process, after-sales response, and above all making sure we deliver every finished home to a high standard. His extensive residential development experience ranges from a small family business to a leading national housebuilder. He enjoys working with great people in successfully delivering exciting, creative projects that offer the lifestyle that our customers are looking for.
Matthew leads the relationships with our institutional investment partners and oversees the long-term stewardship of the communities that we create. Previously he launched Be:here as one of the UK’s first specialist developer/operators of private rented apartments, having identified the potential for large-scale pension fund investment in the residential sector. He’s motivated by disrupting the established residential development market and creating the first major institutionally-backed residential portfolio in London.
As Chief Executive, Andrew leads the team to strategically grow our business to the next level, including working with landowners to create mutual value. In his previous role at Willmott Dixon he had overall responsibility for defining and implementing a strategy to create a residential development business to be proud of. He is driven by making a difference to people’s lives, from our development team through to those living in the new communities that we create.
Vinny leads a development team and likes to have a plan that he knows intimately, focussing on adding value and driving out waste. He was a key part of the Be:here team that delivered some of the first Built to Rent deals with an institutional Investor in London, a challenging but rewarding experience. He’s motivated by managing a happy and proud team and being able to make a real difference to the business.
Matthew leads his development team with the ethos that successful projects are produced by intelligent, creative and diligent teams that work well together and are inspired to produce something they are proud of, regardless of what function they have in the process. He was inspired by being shown around Frank Gehry’s house by the man himself, whilst he explained the inspiration for the interior design of a building he was designing for the business that Matthew worked for at the time.
